In 1857, Frederick Douglass said, “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” 

He also said, “Power concedes nothing without a demand.  It never did and it never will.”

So, hang in there, don’t give -up…and, may I suggest you google The James Lawson, Jr. Institute…he taught the Greensboro and Nashville students ‘non-violent resistance in the 1959.
