Your mentor, Diop, said you, Black/African men are fair to women and everybody else…DuBois said that you can only be you if you know your history and live your culture…which is
And, ‘being hard’ is detrimental to your health…says the literature…see Emotional Invulnerability: The Cost of Being “Hard”. It says ‘partriarchal’ society teaches Black men to ‘act’ “hard” and suffer severe chronic stressors, shortened lifespan, strokes, cardiovascular disease, alcoholism and drug abuse, mood disorders, highest rates of prostrate cancer in the world, leading cause of death and suicide…while dealing with the socio-economics of institutional racism…racism/white supremacy, discrimination, low socioeconomics, incarceration, un/under employment, etc., etc., etc.
To you Black/African, men of color the world over, I wish you a Happy Father’s Day.
The Association of Black Psychologist suggest that you loosen up, soften up, be you…talk, communicate how you really…feel
My recommendation…12 Steps to Recover From Racism (RFRWS)
, program manager at We Act Radio in Southeast. Throughout the month of March, Freeman has performed “Whites Only” for audiences at local Bus Boys & Poets restaurants with the hopes of bringing the play to the Mosaic Theater Company of DC in Northeast later this year.
The March 12 show at the 5th and K Streets location in Northwest attracted nearly two dozen people, three of whom were white. Freeman said that while black audiences have enjoyed his material, he looks forward to the day that he can express his unfiltered thoughts before an all-white crowd.
“I’ve committed my life to telling the lion’s story. I attempt to do that through We Act Radio, testimonies at D.C. council hearings, and in the streets,” said Freeman. “We live in a system that has determined one rule of law for one group of people and one rule of law for another group. Do you think that if black cops were shooting white children that the end result would be the same? No one has answered in affirmation. Our silence is approval of the situation.”
In “Whites Only,” Freeman stands onstage sporting a black shirt with “Don’t Shoot” emblazoned across the front. The two-hour show starts with his plea to guests to understand from where their long-held beliefs and traditions originated. He later regales guests with stories from his adolescence and adulthood while sipping wine.
Each of Freeman’s anecdotes touch on his interaction with family members, friends, employers, and old beaus, with a critique of America serving as the common thread. At times, he holds up a large white sign with a smiley face — representative of what he describes as the façade black men often have to put up in a white-dominated society — drawn in the middle.
Freeman leaves no stone unturned in his assault against American capitalism, the military industrial complex, gentrification, police brutality, and corporate media. Some stories, like one about an argument with a woman who wore weave, drew chuckles. Other stories, like one in which he had to comfort a young woman traumatized by a sexual assault at the hands of a drunk white man brought the room to complete silence. Guests later shook their heads in disbelief as Freeman reminisced about his violent encounters with police officers in Georgetown and Northern Virginia.

Whites stealing children from Africa; why, $$$$$$. Patriarchal culture values $ more than people. White patriarchal culture uses people of color for their benefit, no guilt, no shame and it’s about winning, winning at all cost. It’s purpose, winning via domination & control at all cost, by any means necessary…is what whites are taught & what’s worse, they can’t get enough.
Psychologically, the white patriarchal social structure is comparable to ‘psychopathic’…doing anything for the benefit of self (white privilege) at the expense of others without conscious.
So, stealing these children for money; 21 st century chattel slavery & its Ok. One reason it’s Ok is that we, Blacks, Native Americans, Hawaiians, Australian Aborigines, and other people of color don’t see themselves as ‘victims’ of the same ‘genocide’. We have never launched a collective defense.
According to Diop, we, people of color, Black people are the same because we all share the same matriarchal social system of peace and equity vs their patriarchal social system of domination, control, and inequality.
Thus, the cultural genocidal tactics of Europe’s patriarchal culture wont stop… until one of us wins…them or us.
Did you watch this last TV series of Roots…did they not do the same to us here in America….though it’s in it’s last phase for us currently, with us being ‘educated’ by them in the public school….’to be white’. The public school for us is the same as the Native American, Hawaiian, Australian Aboriginal boarding school.
In the ‘boarding schools’ they taught non-white kids to be white….Native Americans, Hawaiians, Australian Aboriginals…wherever they found non-white people…they educated them to be think & act white…to forget what it was to be indigenous.
And, it’s still happening…in 2016…see Bill Maher : Amazon Primer For Unmet Tribe Joining the Modern World June ,3, 2016 (HBO)…listen to the laughter…listen what’s planned for the tribe. http://bit.ly/1QE8FoJ
They educate the Black out of all of us.
The answer…to educate our culture back into us via our history, our spirituality vs their religion, our matriarchal family/social structure of respect & equality. Stop letting them educate our children; stop them from teaching patriarchal family/social system of disrespect, conflict, domination, & control or sexism, classism, & racism.
African history is what taught Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Tony Browder, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, John Henrik Clarke, Molefi Kete Asante, Umar Johnson, Ta-Nehisi Paul Coates, to name a few, to love themselves so much as to choose to live the family matriarchal social system of peace vs the individualistic patriarchal social system of domination & control via racism/white supremacy.

The concept of family wasn’t two parents; it was an extended family, a village because even the neighbors functioned like parents…i.e., could discipline all of us children… strangers could, too. And, often with a look…called ‘the eye’, which meant, ‘stop’.
By the way, this is a basic characteristic of the ‘matriarchal’ family/social structure.
Any way, it was not until recently, the last 15 – 20 years of so, that I’ve begun discovering things I didn’t teach my kids that I wish I had. I could blame myself, totally but for knowing that my parents’ generation (on back) had the village, the extended family to help them rear the children…which I didn’t have. And, before my divorced, my husband wasn’t very participatory & even less so afterwards, so, I was fully responsible but just couldn’t do what a village could.
My point, one of the basic life skills topics my children needed and didn’t get was ‘financial literacy of spouse selection’, i.e., ‘Is s/he the right fit financially’?
WOW!!!! am I sorry we didn’t have this talk.
But realizing that we didn’t I’m now going to introduce the topic to my grandchildren, the younger people in my family network, the divorced adults, and any of you who find it relevant.
Haven’t read the article in full, yet, but am posting it to my family network now.

inThey Don’t Need Meds & Don’t Belong In Special Ed, Dr. Umar Johnson Tells Them, BUT, Black Parents Don’t Believe Him Initially; Then, Later, They Return Alarmed Saying, Can You Take My Child Off The Meds….Get Them Out Of Special Ed?
And, Johnson says to himself, you believed the white staff here who’re less qualified than me, when they told you your children needed medication; now you come to me…asking me to correct the mistakes made.
According to Dr. Umar Johnson, Black parents really need to know the ‘truth’ about ‘special ed’…
