white Folk Talk Like Black Folk Ain’t Listening & Won’t Say Nothing

Women have been suffering in “a white man’s culture” — which has continually turned a blind eye to sexual assault and misconduct, according to former Vice President Joe Biden, who propped up Anita Hill as an example.
“To this day I regret I couldn’t come up with a way to give her the kind of hearing she deserved,” Biden said Tuesday while speaking at an event to combat sexual violence on college campuses.
“But I also realized there was a real and perceived problem the [Senate Judiciary] committee faced: They’re a bunch of white guys.”
The 76-year-old Democrat continued, “No, I mean it sincerely — a bunch of white guys…hearing this testimony. So…when Anita Hill came to testify, she faced a committee that didn’t fully understand what the hell it was all about.”
Biden, who was Judiciary chairman for the 1991 Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings, got criticized heavily for his handling of the Hill situation. Thomas was accused of harassing Hill, who is black, while he was her supervisor.
“Last fall, you saw it all over again in the Kavanaugh hearing,” Biden blasted. “Almost 30 years…the culture — the institutional culture — has not changed. We have an obligation to change the culture in this country.”
Later on during his speech, Biden brought up a widespread misconception about the “rule of thumb” being an old reference to British common law and it’s tolerance of domestic abuse.
“This is English jurisprudential culture — a white man’s culture,” Biden said, describing how people think the “rule of thumb” was a law that allowed husbands to beat their wives with sticks no thicker than their thumbs.
Describing sexual assault, Biden claimed it was “about the abuse of power.”
“It’s not about sex,” he said. “It’s about power. The most insidious abuse of power of all. And right now we live in a culture where the abuse of power is allowed to penetrate the highest offices of government, where it lives in board rooms and global corporations, and it poisons entire industries — from Hollywood to hotel workers. It pushes down women all around the world.”
Biden spoke for more than a half hour during Tuesday’s event, which was held at the Russian Tea Room in Manhattan. He repeatedly condemned violence against women throughout his speech.
“No man has a right to lay a hand on a woman, no matter what she’s wearing, she does, who she is…Never,” Biden said. “If you see a brother taking an inebriated co-ed up the stairs at a fraternity house and you don’t go and stop it, you’re a damn coward. You don’t deserve to be called a man.”
As indicated by the New Zealand shooter, Brenton Tarrant, the violent white male Patriarchal culture is what determines how boys are raised in this country…it’s a white thing, a white violent thing. Lying is too, that’s why they put a Black face on it in this article.
Parenting isn’t easy. But raising a boy in 2019 presents a particular type of challenge.
Facilitated by social media, parents and children are constantly unpacking patriarchy, feminism and what it means to be a man.
David McGlynn writes about just part of the anxiety he experiences parenting boys:
The thought of either of my two sons harassing or assaulting another person, or being victims themselves, is enough to keep me up at night. Any parent is likely to share my worry.
Nor are sexual bullying and harassment confined to girls. Teenage boys are under tremendous pressure to “act like a guy,” which often means fitting into narrow (and often toxic) conventions of manhood. Dr. Brown said, “It’s common for boys to be called homophobic slurs in middle and high school, especially if they deviate from the very narrow stereotype of what it means to be a typical adolescent boy.” Some boys, in fact, might sexually harass girls simply to keep themselves from being harassed.
Masculinity can often be aggressive. And as Faith Salie writes for Time, angry men are all around us.
A man uses his car to assassinate an anti-Nazi protestor. A man shoots a congressman at his baseball practice. A man commits mass murder at a Vegas concert. A man massacres worshippers in their church. A police officer slaughters his own family. The headlines blur, but they invariably seem to feature men whom the media informs us felt lonely or powerless. And a significant number of American men who actually possess power — but are not murderously angry — are pridefully aggressive. The President tweets furiously, with violently bad syntax, spastic punctuation and apoplectic capitalization, venially attacking not only swaths of people but individual citizens of the country he has vowed to protect and defend.
Of course, men aren’t inherently bad. But patriarchy is widespread.
How can we combat toxic masculinity and make the world a safer, kinder place for people of all genders? And what role do parents and community members play in the development of boys who will fulfill that goal?

The Carl Nelson Show, 1450 WOL, you’ll hear Black scholars, experts, great analysis by people like #MarkfromAnaheim…who put current events in perspective with history…to include recommended reading, information for gaining African citizenship, and much, much, more.
Democracy Now will give the ‘back story you won’t get anywhere else because… like
…like the an analysis of the rich cheating to get into universities by Anand Giridharadas, author of Winners Take All and Brenton Tarrants, white supremacist who shoot 40 non-white New Zealanders.
I was a fly on the wall of the Maintain Racism / White Supremacy Club meeting yesterday when they were discussing the Supreme Court’s decision against excessive fees, fines and forfeitures as criminal penalties.
They said: We not gonna’ give up our “modern debtors’ prison scheme” that targets African Americans with arrests and fines and then locks them up when they can’t pay.
Maintain Racism / White Supremacy Club Meeting
Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg wrote the majority opinion and announced it from the bench:
“The protection against excessive fines guards against abuses of government’s punitive or criminal law-enforcement authority,” Ginsburg wrote. Quoting in part from the court’s ruling in 2010 that Second Amendment gun rights apply to the states, she said, This safeguard, we hold, is ‘fundamental to our scheme of ordered liberty.’ “
Club members were mad as shit at Ginsburg…but that ain’t gonna’ last…
Then somebody stood up and said, well, Ginsburg may have given them Blacks a tool to cut off our money but we can always reverse that law you know…for us, laws were made to be broken… always remember. And, the Niggers don’t have no Racism / white Supremacy Watch Club, like they should…so they don’t even know Ginsburg did them a big favor.
And, by the time they find out (Clarence) Thomas will have resigned and given Trump another seat to fill on the court.
Isn’t that ironic, Thomas is on the court because Thurgood Marshall resigned at the right time, when Bush was in office vs Carter, remember?
Boy our System of Racism / white Supremacy is really working, it keeps those white liberals from going too far left. They maybe liberal but the still white…they ain’t gonna give-up their privilege for real.
And, Blacks who still think some of us are different, still haven’t learned…none of us are that different…to really share the power.
Can you imagine what trouble we’d be in if Marshall and Ginsburg had retired when Carter was in office? And, because they didn’t that #onedecisionnotto stands to reverse… in this the 21 century all their 20th century decisions the two made…combined.
Y’all remember, when in 1980, Carter administration officials pressured that nigger Marshal to resign before the Senate flipped from Democratic to Republican…and he refused…loud laughter. They asked Ginsburg to resign, too…didn’t they…anyway, she didn’t. https://bit.ly/2VpqU5F
Now, in 2019, the court, already conservative is guaranteed to become more so cause Clarence Thomas’ thinking about resigning for Trump can appoint another one of us. Now, that’s a good nigger…that Thomas…what did that nigger Fanon write…Black Skin White Mask…yeah, that’s Thomas…he really thinks he’s one of us and he’ll do anything to try and prove it. He’ll retire early for the System of Racism / white Supremacy.
Couldn’t get Marshall to do that…Ginsburg, either. But when she dies, and it won’t be long…just hope it’s before the 2020 election, cause then we’re guaranteed another Trump appointee…and we can reverse all the laws we want…laughs…louder and louder and louder.
We’ll be guaranteed a conservative court for decades…laughterrrrr….
That Nigger Marshall did us a real favor retiring in ’91 and the Nigger Thomas is about to do it again…thank our white God for the System of Racism / white Supremacy which keeps niggers unconscious, indoctrinated, and addicted to white thinking.
: Johnny Cochran was right talking about guest on his TV show, when he said ‘conservatives are always more prepared than the liberals’. Black people seem not to realize, the conservatives have a 20 year plan playbook…always in the background, ready to be implemented whenever the time is right. That’s what all those think tanks in DC are for.
The real solution for Blacks who’ve been socialized to act inferior to whites, is to recover from internalized inferiority and that’ll take a 12 Step Program to Recover from Internalized Inferiority…I heard a lady, Jackie Morgan’s writing a book about it…has rewritten the steps, traditions, everything. Heard it’ll be ready this year…2019. Man, I can’t wait.
: But in the mean time, the situation via the 2020 election is in the hands of Millennial and Generation Z’ers, because…1) they haven’t been indoctrinated by the System of Racism / white Supremacy as many years as previous generations, 2) they have experienced more diversity than previous generations, 3) they have been exposed more to the concept of ‘social justice’ than previous generations and 4) they have witnessed racism/white supremacy differently via Trumpism and understand the System of Racism / white Supremacy is just as much about class as race and thus, the white 1% ‘s about controlling poor whites as much as they’re about controlling people of color.
History to remember: “Most damaging for liberals were the Johnson blunder that led to the replacement of Chief Justice Warren by Chief Justice Burger; the replacement of Hugo Black by Lewis Powell (a corporate lawyer) in 1972; and that of Thurgood Marshall by Clarence Thomas in 1991. Justice Marshall had ignored some pleas to retire in the late 1970s, when Jimmy Carter was president, only to watch Republicans win the next three presidential elections.
And, a good analysis is like a debate, remember the how the students in the Great Debaters won…with facts…not opinion?
They seemed not to know or realize that some of the most effective activists for Black people were not born in America, mixed race, and/or were even mulatto…like Marcus Garvey, Frederick Douglas, Minister Lous Farrakhan.
Critical thinking doesn’t/can’t use opinion (what one thinks or feels) to analyse and answer any question which was one of the lessons in the Great Debaters movie.
Other callers, made their point or argument with facts like her record not “…to embrace criminal justice reforms as a district attorney and then the state’s attorney general…” [For she] “opposed them or stayed silent. Most troubling… Harris fought tooth and nail to uphold wrongful convictions that had been secured through official misconduct that included evidence tampering, false testimony and the suppression of crucial information by prosecutors.”
In other word, Harris has not acted in the best interest of Black people which is an objective, critical reason to question her candidacy as worthy of our vote.
Critical thinking is the objective analysis of facts to form a judgment so to answer the question whether Kamala Harris is a worthy candidate thus her record needs to be analysed…facts gathered, reviewed then one can answer the question objectively.
Professor of Critical Thinking, Gerald Horne made the point that what’s important is 1) that all Black people are of African descent and thus are African. What he meant is, as Africans we can win any election voting as an ‘African voting block’. But, whites win if we let them divide us into numerous nationalities fighting among ourselves.
And, 2) it’s what Kamala Harris has done for Black people that counts…and the question we should be asking her and any/all other persons running for office…is…
….’what have you done for Black people’…what is your record helping Black people?
What is Harris’ answer to that question…what does the record say…that’s our answer to her worthiness.
